Tempus Tailor is not just a brand; it’s a movement, and I believe the best way to show you what that means is to share what we're doing.
Our first release, the Open Work Classic Automatic “Primer Movimiento,” started with one goal: a dress watch that is versatile and easy to wear while still having details that make it stand out. The semi-skeleton dial lets you see the automatic movement working, so every time you look at your wrist you are looking at the mechanics that keep time. In addition, I paid close attention to the 40mm case, the stainless steel finish, and the leather strap, since those are the parts you feel and notice the most.
I chose an automatic movement because it runs on the motion of your wrist, with no battery to replace. The watch keeps going because you keep going, and that connection between the watch and the person wearing it is exactly what I wanted to build this brand around.
